Title: Useful Websites
Post by: CaptCarrot on Tue, 21 October 2008, 08:32:43
I thought it might be useful to have a central resource for website links, make things easier to find.

So to kick it off I present you with...

Clicky Keyboards (http://www.clickykeyboards.com/)  Well duh :)

Sandy55 (Translated) (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://sandy55.fc2web.com/keyboard/keyboard.html&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=2&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsandy55%2Bkeyboard%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26hs%3Db6E%26sa%3DG) - Some useful references to old keyboards and different switches (BS, ALPS, NMB, etc...)

Qwerters Clinic (Translated) (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://park16.wakwak.com/~ex4/kb/&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dqwerters%2Bclinic%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26hs%3DcxZ) - Some very good cutaways on the workings of different switches. e.g. ALPS Big Foot (http://209.85.171.104/translate_c?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://park16.wakwak.com/~ex4/kb/tech_alps_bigfoot.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dqwerters%2Bclinic%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26hs%3DCvG&usg=ALkJrhgAP1NoWFCicp2Qz09IiLP_OAkZzQ), ALPS IBM 5576-001, 002, A01, 003 (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://park16.wakwak.com/~ex4/kb/&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dqwerters%2Bclinic%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26hs%3DCvG), ALPS Linear (http://209.85.171.104/translate_c?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://park16.wakwak.com/~ex4/kb/tech_alps_linearaction.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dqwerters%2Bclinic%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26hs%3DCvG&usg=ALkJrhjN28nKarwiLwsIkO_hGnyvg66E7A), Cherry MX (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://park16.wakwak.com/~ex4/kb/&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dqwerters%2Bclinic%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26hs%3DCvG) (showing differences between Black, White, Brown(Tea) and Blue), Cherry ML (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://park16.wakwak.com/~ex4/kb/&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dqwerters%2Bclinic%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26hs%3DCvG), IBM Buckling Spring (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://park16.wakwak.com/~ex4/kb/&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dqwerters%2Bclinic%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26hs%3DCvG) and the non IBM (possibly Can Technology) Buckling Spring (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://park16.wakwak.com/~ex4/kb/main_nb_mechanical_touch.htm&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=4&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3D%2522mechanical%2Btouch%2Bfeeling%2522%2Bkeyboard%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26sa%3DG)

KBDMania (Translated) (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ko&u=http://www.kbdmania.net/board/zboard.php%3Fid%3Dmarket&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=2&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dkbdmania%26num%3D30%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dopera%26rls%3Den%26hs%3DkRH)

Note the following 2 pages are too long for Google's translator to cope with (and Babelfish threw a wobbler at the 2nd one (didn't try the 1st)).  So you may need to use Babel fish (it works for just the text on the 2nd page, again didn't try the 1st) or Google Translator (not tried) to convert the remaining Japanese.
