Title: Ducky Cherry MX Thick PBT Grey Keycaps
Post by: jameslr on Tue, 30 July 2013, 15:59:59
Found this on fleabay. Not a bad price considering it's not in stock anywhere. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Ducky-Grey-Cherry-MX-Thick-PBT-108-Count-Keyboard-Keycaps-Set-BrandNew-OEMs-/171090943541?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item27d5d09e35

Edit: looks like these were pulled from a 9087G2Pro with the PBT caps.

Not a great deal imo. If you really wanted the caps, you're better off buying the actual board from mechanicalkeyboards.com and selling the barebones board.

I was just going off what the other Thick PBT sets are going for (Feng's eBay), and these are $20 cheaper. If you don't want the hassle of dumping an additional board wouldn't these be the way to go?

It's still really not worth imo. They are awfully expensive for the PBT caps alone when you consider this:

The DK9008G2 Pro w/ ABS caps is just over $100.

If you bought the DK9008G2 Pro w/ PBT caps, you can probably sell the barebones board for around $100 (depending on the switches), which would make the PBT caps only cost you about $30-40ish.
