Found some interesting information on the Ducky Mini over at DT. The Ducky-nordic division put out some tentative dates for the Mini in ISO format for production starting July 21 and shipping August 6-8. Retail availability may be as soon as August 9-13. I'm not sure if this is reflected for the ANSI layout, but one can hope. Apparently the pre-production prototype of the Ducky mini is "basically a modified early Poker II led prototype". This leads me to believe that Poker II cases and accessories will work with the Ducky Mini's - assuming the modification would be at the PCB level not necessarily the case level.

On the last page there is an update saying they got their stock of YOTS in warehouse and getting ready to distribute them.
ShakeR or JoshMK: do you have any info on the ANSI Ducky Mini yet? I wants one!

I wanna know who in the states will be getting the mini, when, and how much!
Specifically how much in comparison to poker 2.

I know, I've been watching my inbox like a hawk waiting for the shipment confirmation. Hopefully it will be sometime this week.
-
So you guys are preordering these from scandinavia?
-
Why not
-
There will never be ansi >: D

was wondering why did they write that for the limited edition on their FB
Year of Snake

There is a Ducky Nordic rep here literally named "ducky-nordic" who works with i3oilermaker a lot. Maybe they might have some details as well and can chime in? Or maybe someone can PM the guys at MK.com, i3oilermaker, or ducky-nordic and ask?
Regardless, I'm pretty interested in seeing how this turns out. I was all over the Year of the Snake until I saw the camo and only the top being aluminum so maybe this will be my first Ducky.

Why not
I dunno, shipping price if you don't live in scandinavia???

It can't possibly be more than us scandinavians have pay for shipping _to_ here ಠ_ಠ

Also of note: If you're following the MKC ALU poker case GB thread - I posted some comparison pictures of the Ducky Mini case (originally posted in the DT Ducky-Nordic thread) and the MKC ALU case. The cutouts and screw alignment looks to be a perfect fit (you can check out the pic comparison in the GB thread). So the Ducky Mini may be compatible with all of the cases the Poker II and Pure are compatible with. Yay for a programmable Ducky 60% backlit board!
Today is the last day to get in on the GB so put your orders in!!
Edit: I should note that they simply LOOK to be the same, that's not a guarantee they will be, or that they won't change since the pic was taken on a prototype case. So, I guess while this is potentially exciting news for those that want the Ducky Mini and ordered that case - you might take it with a grain of salt until some actual proof that it fits. Not intentionally trying to mislead anyone - just excited is all :)

So is the Ducky Mini just a poker 2 with ducky on it?
-
Probably - a Poker II with LED backlight and ducky branding.
-
Sounds alright to me, as the backlit poker 2 never materialized...
Or did it?

I'm so getting this as my second mechanical keyboard. Ducky quality, small, LEDs AND nordic layout? Almost too good to be true
