So tight you have to break your switches to remove them I've heard...nah not that tight. You just have to be careful when removing them. I've had them on and off a few times for modding. I have them on reds and the weight of the caps make the switch soo light and it makes for a very smooth feeling, I love it but also really like heavy switches too. And the sound is very cool they "shimmer". Clink clink clink
I have the silver versions (newer better fitting molds) for Esc and arrow keys. Too heavy to be used on normal switches for typing. Maybe on stiff switches like stock Clears and similar. They also sound clanky and metallic. I'd stick with them as novelty caps and would not recommend them for alpha keys.Yea all my mods and shift, enter etc are the newer silver colored ones and they all fit very loose so I needed to put a small square piece of painters tape on the stems and press the tape into the stems with the switch so they would fit a little tighter. Actually I had to use two layers of tape. If I didn't I could have held the board upside down and with a little shake they would have fell off. Are yours the same?
I have those and I love them. They fit tight tho. Really tight.Very nice looking board :DShow Image(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/31/y7y5umy5.jpg)

plus shipping and agent fees
I would like some gold mods if they ever make them I might pick them up. I didn't see any of them though. I don't think I would want them on alphas considering what people have said about them. Damn near $90 (after shipping and fees) for alphas alone is pretty pricey though. The user Feng is the guy who gets these things made from MKC. He has said that there will be no more gold caps made as the failure rate is too high. So whatever you see for sale are just left over from the first round he had made. Once it all sells you're only chance is buying them from someone second hand.
Titanium spacebars are where the ****'s at if you like metal keycaps. I ordered 2 THICK ones from R2, and will likely sell my thin R1 for a slight markdown considering they don't wear.
