Title: Cherry MX Blue open depress test
Post by: MOZ on Thu, 01 August 2013, 11:43:30
I was swapping springs on one of my Cherry MX Blue switches and thought of making a video.

Here is the video, it can help new members understand how the Blue switch has the Clicky feel and sound.

There are two clicks, the softer one is made when the switch is pressed down, and the white portion of the stem hits the bottom of the switch.

The louder click is made when the white part bounces back up and hits the blue stem.

Cool, thanks!

I've seen the GIF, but it is interesting to see an actual switch in operation.

I might pull my spare blue apart one day (something else to add to the list).

This is what happens when you get bored and your summer break approaches an end.
