They should really be advertising this better, that is awesome!!
I wonder if that's the actual price or a placeholder until stock is received.
-

-

this. i want a cheap doner for my HHKB
-
Does this mean you're going to be stocking Realforce boards as well?
-
If MK stocks RF's, HHKBs, and 660Cs, then FINALLY we can have some competition here in the US.
-
Really nice price, I just bought the Realforce 87u 55g for $250 rather than $150 for that type heaven haha. But I would pay that extra $100 to have dye sublimated PBT keys, more known brand name and 55g activation force.

i would too now that i KNOW i love topre but for someone looking to experiment they can get it now for a whole $1 cheaper. only good things can come from this. more competition, possible more keycap sets and more stable prices.

The only other place to but type heaven, as of what I know is amazon.COM for $150. That means it cannot be shipping internationally but mk.com supports international shipping so that might open more people into buying topre keyboards. I'm taking a big risk in getting a topre 55g realforce for $250 without trying one before but I haven't heard one negative thing on them!

"It's not rubber dome" in 5...
-
ERMAHGLERBERD!!! Cup rubber, not rubber dome. Rubber dome is crappy. Topre uses special formulated rubbers.
-
Now they just have to sell HHKB and Realforce for a reasonable price and free shipping! Haven't really heard any positive things about the Type Heaven so I will pass on this one.

Leopold F600C is the closest you will get to affordable topre boards with PBT caps. And it's a nice layout to boot. I don't foresee the prices of RF's and HHKB's substantially lowering.
I would also pass on this topre board, as PBT caps are one of the great points of stock topre boards. But if someone wants the topre experience on the cheap, it's not a terrible option, I suppose.

If only the caps were a higher profile for the FC660C. I am typing on a FC660C and I had to use the large red silicone o-rings just to have a higher profile on the caps. Also, the flatness of the keycaps makes it easy to make typing mistakes. Although that also may be due to the fact that I am using MX Reds. I haven't tried a tactile switch on these like clears (which I wish I got...but I got mine for $100 so it is whatever).

Wow this is even cheaper than amazon (http://goo.gl/4rex8), which has it at $170
-
Amazon (which is actually EK) dropped their price to $150 to match. Nothin' wrong with some good competition :) TOPRE PRICE WAR! GO!

I knew I wasn't going crazy....
-
Oh it looks like EK from amazon just slashed price too. I didn't realize that at first. TKL coming out will be very popular, because that's getting into price territory of MX now.

now i am interested...pop in the option for 55g and there goes my money

Oh god, the end is nigh!
-
It is good news that there is finally some competition for Topre vendors in the USA. I hope they can add other Topre products to their inventory.

More competition makes better prices

So, own several different boards including Brown, Red, Blue and Clears. So far my favorite is the Ducky Pro2 Dye-Sub with Clears. I own Ducky, CM & Corsair. Knowing that, can someone explain to me how the Topre compares?

From what I've read clears/ergo-clears are the most similar to topre boards. They are tactile but smoother than cherry boards. Instead of clacking and clicks topres have more of a "thock" feedback.

Maybe if they're lubed and o-ringed. Yes they might be closest, but they're still quite noticeably different. The bottom out feel of a Topre is quite a unique feeling, and it's extremely difficult for the Cherry MX mechanism to come close to it.

This is from what I've read. People have said that topre switches are unique and are different than all cherry switches but most similar to clears.

With everyone saying that they compare to clears...I WANT!
I love my ergo clears on my poker that I cannot even use, and I like hearing that thock sound instead of the clack.
If they are as smooth and as cushiony as people say they are, than I think I might invest in one soon. I am just debating on 45g as opposed to 55g. I used 62g springs on the clears. Are the 45g springs lighter or about the same as the 62g springs? If so, I might as well just get the type heaven and save some cash...

Tbh, I would much more recommend paying a little bit more for the FC660C as they are PBT and made by leopold than having ABS and made by Type Heaven

I guess so. I might just get a realforce 87u...If I had the money, I would get me a hhkb...

I'm getting an 87u on Monday, I'll let you know if it's worth it. Mostly personal preference though. I wasn't sold on the HHKB layout, I'd rather stick to the layout i'm already used to (TKL) and having dedicated arrow keys.

I just have a love for 60% boards because they just seem right and easy to center in front of you. I want a TKL for home/apart(or dorm) use.

If you want smoothness, Topre is king in that department. Once you switch from Cherry MX to Topre, you'll realize how much wobble Cherry MX switches have.

Is Type Heaven coming out with a TKL version of this soon?

It's feels like the first time you ever rode a BMW.

Such an amazing feeling. I drive a Mazda and my sister drives a BMW...when I first drove that baby, I was like about to cry at the difference XD. So I am guessing I might react the same when I type on a Topre board.

It depends. Once I had a BMW. It was in the shop much of the time, and the white-coated BMW technicians delighted in presenting me with astronomical bills. Now I drive a Honda Accord, and I delight in its reliability. I suppose it is inevitable that there are lemons hiding under many different labels.

You should've gotten a Mazda. I love my 3.
