Title: Spiced up my Signature
Post by: microsoft windows on Fri, 02 August 2013, 13:06:08
After many years of the boring same ol', same ol', I figured it was time to spice up my signature a little bit. How do you all like it?

I'm trying to find a link to a page that literally just let you play around with that.

Hmm, I think your sig gave me a BSOD.  But it could just be Windows.

You're probably having issues because you are using the wrong Web browser. My signature, as it clearly states, is best viewed with Internet Explorer.

That's why you're supposed to view my signature in Internet Explorer 6. There's no Adblock for that! Hehehe...

Ditto.
As does turning off signatures in the forum.

Thank goodness.

Couldn't use this forum if you couldn't hide the signatures!

I totally forgot you could do that.  So much more pleasant now.

This has finally prompted me to turn off signatures.

It was a bit too distracting.

Over the years I notice I don't usually read/post the same threads as the OP, so not much of an issue for me.

But, this is a good example of why so many forums are rather plain/generic and limit avatars, signatures, headers, no .gifs, etc.

This sig is done purely as an annoyance, and it does it well. I guess it's the price we have to pay for freedom. There were one or two avatars that were very similar but since being smaller, was not so distracting.

Remember the hullabaloo over the size of Ripsters "NUMBER ONE KEYBOARD EXPERT ON THE PLANET"? LOLOLOL

Windows ME was my favorite; never had any of the problems it was associated with, even if MW is simply beating an old joke into the ground.

Way better less annoying, your old one wouldn't look good with any known Web browser IMHO. Thanks MJ

Never heard of it :P

BTW, where did you get that little picture of the keyboard in your signature? Is that a particular keyboard that you own?

In this thread  (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=19113.0)there are a number of basic layouts for open use.

I just modified some colors in the relevant Filco in Photoshop to match my keycap layout (though I actually need to update it now that I changed the colors again).
