Title: Rumors of a New Das?

Don't know where you are getting your comps by my new-ish pc has 6 USB2.0 ports on the back plate 2 USB 3.0 ports on back and 2 more on the front with 3 sets of usb headers on the motherboard which can accomodate 6 more ports plus what ever I could cram into PCI slots. Plus 4 USB 3.0 slots on my Asus monitor

TAKE MY MONEY Where did these come from?

A non shiney Das would be awesome and if they keep the USB passthrough make it 3.0

Edit: Just headed over to www.daskeyboards.com and they do have the Model S Proffesional available in MX reds now. Not sure how new of a development this is though

One on each side toward the inside of the keys? Or just under the thumb keys? I think under the thumb keys would give you the most options for hardware placement.

Very good points. Possibly have custom caps made for thumb to put track point there or blank caps for where the track point would come through around index finger on dominant hand then?

That's a really nice mock-up Hyde. That'd be awesome if that was the concept they were going for.
