Hello i am looking for my first mechanical keyboard, i would like to have blue or green switches and no numpad. I like the QFR, Filco and ducky but i have no idea whats the diffrence between them and which one is the best option.
So if anyone has some suggestions please post them here and if anyone happens to sell keyboard like that feel free to pm me

As a first board, get the QFR. No frills, top-quality, great mechanical keyboard experience, at the best price of the bunch.

Ergodox.
First and Last board you'll ever need.

i was thinking about the qfr but i really like the filco case design :D and i love ducky lights too, so can you explain more in detail the diffrence between those keyboards, becouse i can pay like 30 dollars more to get filco than qfr, money is not the biggest problem so just tell me pros and cons about the keyboards

Filco has the best build quality. Ducky is good for backlit keyboards, but because of some limitations, it's build quality is worse than the filco. QFR is a good beginning keyboard. Especially for newbies. You should probably get one and then save the money for your next purchase. Keyboards are a journey to find what fits you best, and even if you do the research, nothing can beat trying out the board in person.
If price isn't important, and you find the QFR is worth it, there are a lot of things you can sink your wallet into, like korean customs, ergodox, and other more exotic things.

The QFR essentially IS the same case design as the Filco. Especially since they're unbranded now.

Yea ik that but if the main diffrence between qfr and filco is quality then ima go for filco
-
The point we're trying to make is that the difference between a QFR and a Filco is so small it doesn't justify an almost doubling of the price
-
Well 1 guy is offering me filco tkl for 80 euro w/browns so its only like 20 euro more expansive than qfr i quess or have you seen any better offers?
-
Ducky for backlighting, QFR if not. Filco if not backlighting and you have a bit of extra cash, as the quality is slightly better than the QFR.
I have QFR and Ducky, both are fantastic keyboards.

Well now all i need is someone thats selling them :D I was looking at classifields for about 2 hours and found nothing usefull
