Title: Custom sized spacebar
Post by: Melvang on Tue, 06 August 2013, 21:41:52
Anyone here made a custom length space bar by cutting and splicing together multiple doner space bars?  Links would be greatly appreciated.

If the Spacebar is ABS, couldn't you get acetone or ABS "model glue" (We have some at work) and melt it together? Then stem mod it?

It sounds possible, but it won't look pretty. You'll see the seams.

Yep, acetone/model glue is the best you're going to get.

Also, 19.05mm=1x, then take 0.5 or 1mm off to account for spacing between keycaps.
