I found this listing while browsing the local Craigslist:
http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/ele/3988617228.html
The seller says it's very rare.
-
Definitely rare looking at that number pad layout

Lol...

You can't put a price on his 10 years of use and coffee stains.
-
some people are totally shameless.
that crap keyboard, that he can't guarantee is working or not (despite having used it and stained it up so much), for $350?
Where is Mandolin when you need him? Mandolin could probably sell this keyboard for $800, calling it cocoa crystal deposits or something.
You can't put a price on his 10 years of use and coffee stains.
-
Chicony rubber dome, right?
-
Epic.
Those are the ones I don't even like to touch when I dig through junk piles. Missing keys is icing on the cake.

I ALREADY OFFERED A WONDERFUL RARE KEYBOARD FOR $800. IT'S STILL FOR SALE IF YOU'D LIKE IT:

ah, darn, so I didn't already offer 1 trillion (Zimbabwean) dollars for it?
Let me raise my offer by another trillion times.
Ok, how about 10,000 (Indonesian Rupiah) shipped instead? That should be equal to a few sextillion Zimbabwean dollars.
-
We have one very much like that, including the sticker above the arrows, at work.
I could probably sneak it out ...
So - anyone here interested in buying it?
-
There is fail, epic fail, and this!
-
why is this keyboard so rare to justify the price tag of $350? what year was it made and why is it rare? any history info on this board?

It would save on shipping if you could get the seller to burn it on your behalf. Would save time too.
-
With comments like, 'I am not sure it works,' 'no returns' and finally, 'I need the cash' only signal this seller is set out to take the piss.
-
more like, he got drunk and pissed on it, found it doesn't work anymore, and decided to sell.
that;s why you have these stains.

For you special price only $200!
-
$200? THAT'S WAY TOO LOW! I KNOW A $500 KEYBOARD WHEN I SEE ONE. YOU SELL THAT THING FOR $200 AND YOU'LL BE GETTING ROBBED!

I won't be getting robbed, because technically it is not my keyboard. But I can adopt it with minimal fuss.
-
I think 'rare' was a typo, they probably meant to say 'retarded'
-
Nothing wrong with the keyboard - it is a run of the mill rubber dome. Nothing particularly special about it either.
Now you consider my NEC APC-H4100E - that is special :)

You can help him from not being robbed by purchasing the board from him at 200 USD and resell it at 500 USD. You can get 300 USD profit.
Is that a win-win solution and every body will be happy after all?

Everybody except the person who spends $500 on it and finds it is a not well maintained commonplace rubber dome keyboard.
