Title: 6 month anniversary on GH

6 months on GH :D

Just want to touch up on some things and write out my thoughts (for once, CPT says that i never do that). I just want to say i’ve had an amazing time here and i really love this place and a lot of people i have met here. I love this hobby and can’t wait to see what becomes of it. i’ve learned a *lot* and had a ton of fun doing it. I feel as if i am constantly pursuing my plans and dreams here and that’s part of the fun.

There is a lot i have in store and a lot of dreams and big, big projects and plans i want to work towards, and that is exciting for me as well. The next few months for me on GH are going to be very busy, and all the months i’ve been waiting to see my plans unfold and to see things finally become a reality is beyond words for me. I’m very, very full of hype and those that know me well can vouch for that lol.

About the past, I have learned more than i ever thought i would and have met more people than i ever thought possible. Real people who i can truely call friends. I think GH is a wonderful place, a place to escape the BS and stress that is ‘real life’. it’s something more than a hobby to me, and i didn’t expect or intend on that to happen. now for some thank yous and shout outs:

these are the people that i feel i am closest to and have impacted my stay here so far.

Akimbo- Very nice fellow here on GH. You have always been very approachable and you sure do love your alps boards. I’m very jealous of your kingsaver :P. i also love accidentally poking you on #gh too.

GMang- you are a really cool guy, i’m a bit sad not a lot of people know about you. hopefully we can meet up in philly soon...i also hope you post that legendary board that i’m almost positive no one knows about ;)

Spamray- i wasn’t always your #1 fan when the spam first started but it’s grown on me. it’s part of your image and now that i know you better, i’m 100% ok with it. still could have split that kit wth me ;D. good to have you around.

Boost- I enjoy our conversations about GH. you really have a solid grip on what’s happening and you’ve helped me out in special situations. someday i will finish the mixtape for you

Jcrouse- you are a very nice person and very generous. i wish we could talk more, and every volley of PMs between us i enjoy a lot. You are very good about advice as well ^^ to quote you best: “Be patient and follow your heart, young warrior. Your time will come.”

Jackass- I love talking to you about life and keyboards. you are very knowledgeable and i enjoy every second of conversation. my only wish is that the time differences between us could be diminished.

Kangaroozombies- You are a legit bro, and a good amount of fun to play CS with. hopefully we can drag you back over from the topre side of things ;)

TheFlyingRaccoon- I’ve had a great time talking to you and learning about your projects. it’s really awesome to see all that you have accomplished over time. it’s no suprise to hear when you get off the games to go work on the longcat or other project.

Vespersaint- I’m glad we both found CS together as a game to play and to bond over. you have that wonderful set of 3 clacks that i just drool over whenever i see it. someday...someday..i will outsnipe you...someday..also to add that the page will come someday as well..(hahaha)

JWAZ- all hail the king

Commie- You gave me the gift of mx whites and thus i love you. haha but it's great to have you in #geekhack for some heated debates and discussions. hope you are enjoying your ergodox ;)

Zenuty- Zenuty i believe every word you say ;) trust me, after every conversation that takes place, i feel like i’ve had a great time. GH is your true english school, and i love the daily updates on new words you have learned :D

Domo- we haven’t talked for long, but i very much enjoy every mumble conversation. you are a very, very smart fellow and you are a ton of fun to play with. of course, ‘play’ just means get destroyed if i’m on the opposite team ofc.

Shadovved- for the pursuit of julysicles, our friendship was started on ^_^. you have some serious keyboard swag and i hope your PC gets fixed soon! again, the time differences leads to lack of communication but you are my true bro

Nubbinator- We bash heads sometimes on topics, and have some heated debates in #geekhack sometimes, but i very much respect your opinion and what you have to say. Your QFR pic all those months ago made me gaze with jealousy... still does ;). i think i’ve known you the longest on GH too lol. overall, you’ll a total bro and i intend to keep it that way

Bunnylake- I feel like we don’t get to talk a lot, and especially not as much as i’d like. You have taken on a lot of seriously cool projects, and i can’t wait to see all the final products. i think everyone is well aware of your kindness and generosity, and i hope everyone who doesn’t catches on quick. and hey, ya know you can always stop by for some CS games ;)

Tym- I enjoy playing CS with you, and while you don’t stay up photekq hours in the UK, we still squeeze some games in during my mornings haha. You and Mr. Bunny produce some seriously awesome products, and i wish i could buy more ;D

Mashby- very knowledgeable fellow, and a very kind one at that. you are always helpful with questions and an awesome guy. Back a few months ago when we needed help with case information, you delivered it so quickly and with so many details. looking forward to the *possible* stream ;)

Sherry- I really look forward to everytime you pop online on skype. you are a seriously cool dude, and i love talking to you about everything from future kustoms to the GH past and future. I will continue to support you because i know what a good and cool person you are.

Ascaii- We haven’t known each other a long time, and for the time that we have, i know you are a great person. you are a pleasure to talk to, and you can answer any question relating to cherry i can think of. Hope you can see this :p

Eckse- :|

Binge- A very classy fellow and someone i can call a close friend. I am very happy for you with what you are accomplishing and very excited to see more come into play. even though i backed out of my 2tu, i can still drool all over yours. you keep me in line in #geekhack most of the time LOL. someday i will re-buy the borderlands 2 dlc and rejoin you and cpt. always remember to use your hashtags and to fight the hype. you also will receive a public invitation to follow me on my personal twitter so should you choose to join twitter. #joinme #now #hashtag

Meeba- A very sessy fellow, you provide me with a lot of laughs and enjoyable nights. Meebcast is a highlight of my week. you’ve help me discover more music and made me feel comfortable about things i’ve had trouble with. There is more to say, but im going to keep it sessy and end it here. the hunt for the legendary and rare blue meebcaps continues!

Jdcarpe- someone who made my GH beginnings much more easier then they could have been. JD is an amazing and understanding guy, he is a literal vault of knowledge and one of the best guys on GH. i can go to him with anything and he will deliver. He’s done a LOT for GH and i get the feeling that is a universal understanding. He is my solder mentor and my good friend. Congrats on the recent good news! :)

Moose- Moose is really an amazing guy and someone who has treated me very well. he’s very understanding and one of the coolest and funniest guys i’ve met on GH. he’s done a lot for me, and i thank him for that. I credit him for installing my clack tactics and my thirst for clacks. he’s a very generous fellow and i can call him a close friend. yes, the moosicle had me crumpled a bit, but it means nothing to me, because he’s moose. I ill always look up to you bro.

Tinlong- one of the more interesting relationships i have here on GH. but also one of my serious top favorites. He makes me laugh literally all night. I teach him a lot, and he teaches me a lot. there is definitely more of him teaching me things, then there is myself teaching him things. remember, it’s Caro-LINE and not Caro-lin ;) ;) ;)

CPTBadass- the guy i can call my older brother. He’s another best friend of mine here on GH and he’s done a lot for me. He’s motivated me and inspired me to do a lot of things as well. He was a total bro and very warm when i was brand new, and has honestly taught me so much. he’s helped me branch out and most things i’ve done i can credit to him. He is one of the guys i talk to the most, and like the most. He gives me advice for real life stuff and GH stuff and i owe him a lot of gratitude. too many memories and stories to put down, and regardless they ought to told later on. <3

Photekq- topLAD. not much else to say. big things coming from this boi, so keep an eye out. hopefully big things from the both of us, and we are working on that. also known as my top proxy and my #1 go to for CS games. #CRISP #JUICE #LAD #GOHAM

Basically i just want to express my gratitude and happiness about GH and write down some thoughts. i usually don’t write a lot (according to some) so i tried to get more out this time. GH has turned into something i didn’t expect but thoroughly enjoy. I’ve made a large list of friends and i truely love it here. Now there are more people i call my ‘friends’ that were not listed and i apologize, but i feel as if it would be a lot of “i really like you, but feel as if we never get the chance to talk”. swing by #geekhack! Let’s talk more because i’m always hanging out there as some of you know. that also means i hope some of you turn from ‘xxxx_afk’ to ‘xxxx’ and start chatting away :D there are some of you who can come back and some of you that can unfortunately can not come back, and that still bothers me.

I have a lot of plans and ideas i am working on and my next 4-6 months on GH will be very busy and full of news. I’m working on some projects that will give back to the community more, and hopefully make some people go ‘Wow’. I have accomplished something wonderful in my eyes however, and that is discovering what i like and don’t like. i believe that takes some people a lot more time to do that, but i think i am pretty rock solid on my preferences. Obviously, most things on GH are preference, and not rock solid facts, but that is just something you learn pretty quick. i have to thank CPT again, as he was the one that motivated me to get off my lazy ass and start giving back and providing and producing more...i credit him for that as well. I have some big dreams and ideas and they will hopefully be set into motion once more money and time is at hand. one thing i am immediately working on is photography and i am learning a lot of my own with my dad’s nice camera. I find it extremely satisfying and i am pursuing better shots. i really enjoy it, and love ‘muploading some sexy shots (or what i think is sexy) to flickr. i give credit to mashby for suggesting flickr (really love it, now that i’ve stepped up my game). my flickr can be found here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/99760972@N03/), and i will be updating it as time goes on pretty constantly (i want to add, 2 photos there of my test poker pcb are what i consider ‘keyboard gore’, it’s the pcb i taught myself how to solder on, and therefore it’s very messy, so please understand that. she’s been through a lot haha). What i want to do with my gh60s and future boards is to do 100% photo build logs like the famous, drool inducing 356mini build log (http://deskthority.net/photos-videos-f8/356mini-t5185.html) on DT.

final thoughts:
I love (most) of you guys (hehe) and have really enjoyed my time here so far. I have met a ton of fantastic people, and i’m excited for the future. you can expect to see a lot more from me in the next coming months, and definitely in one year from now if all goes to plans. I (and some others) have massive plans and dreams that can come true in maybe a year or two. I hope i didn’t write too much and i hope some people made it this far into the writeup. maybe i got somewhat close to cpt length in size?

yes, anniversary avatar change. it’s just temporary, and i will go back, as some of you know i hate change. the green avatar has been mine since day 1, and i plan to keep it my primary one.

anyways, i have written enough here, time to go back and rant on #geekhack
