Anyone interested, I would wholeheartedly like to direct you to the best thing in the world.

This is a radio news broadcast in the fictional desert town of Night Vale, where everything is terrible, and the world is on the brink of collapse.
Seriously. This is my favorite thing ever and I want to share it with you.
Feel free to respond in this thread with your favorite quotes.
-SIDE NOTE- I really suggest listening to this when you have nothing else going on. Don't troll the forums, don't go shopping online, play video games, or watch TV. Treat this like a TV show, or you will miss way too much. It sounds so much like an actual radio broadcast that your mind will just shuffle into the background if you're not actively focusing on it.

I do listen to this.
Its one of those things you either love or hate.
Its not for everyone, but if you're looking for a podcast, give it a shot.

I'll bite.
I'll add it to my list as I am looking for something else to listen to whilst commuting since one of my favourite podcasts stopped.
No guarantees though, but it sounds curiously enticing. I like the concept.

Great for commuting. It makes me wish I had a commute, so I could listen to it without taking time away from internet things.
Let me know what you think.

Finally caught up with other stuff and started listening to it.
It is pretty much what I expected, and hasn't let up over the first 10 episodes, which is fantastic!
I rarely literally LOL but I have come so close a few times with Night Vale.
Brilliant! Highly recommended!!
Thank you for making me aware of it :)

Haven't started listening yet, but I've been meaning to. So many people I follow on twitter and tumblr have become obsessed...

It has that certain appeal to it.
Plus who can deny that they wish some bits of it were real. The Dog Park :))
