I remember watching this guy's big brother be developed back around 2005? and was very disappointed when i saw its price and poor performance.  anyway, i was browsing through ebay and came accross this neat little thing.  its mostly useless but it would maybe be cool for someone's collection one day.

That is pretty cool, but from the listing:

"I have never used the product personally. I do not know if it works or not.  I havent even removed the screen protectors!

I do not warrant that it does work."

Seems a bit odd to me.   How hard is it to plug it into a USB port, take a picture of whatever comes up on the buttons by default, and put that in the listing?

That would involve the risk of finding out it doesn't work, and therefore having to disclose that fact.

while the full size keyboard uses cherry ml (http://optimus-project.livejournal.com/60517.html) it looks like this version is a dome over PCB (see below).
