I know right.....and I can just throw in the 'extra stuff' drawer in my file cabinet so when someone in the office asks for a mouse I can hand it to them and smile.

Ideally you'll want to swap the switches for Omrons on this mouse just like with the Anker Vertical Mouse.

Anker has Omrons also or you gotta switch out the Anker?

Both have crappy switches that you want to replace with Omrons.

Modding a cherry switch onto it? You could try, but I'd stick with Omrons. Far less of a headache.

On your recommendation I bought TWO of them.
Will modify them both with some Japanese Omron's that I collected from some old Microsoft Rodents. I just wish there was an easy step by step picture album showing the procedure.
YES I am a 'retarded' individual when it comes to desoldering and resoldering the correct switches into this new mouse because I have never done any soldering in my life nor disemboweling a perfectly good mouse as well. But for $12 each I couldn't pass up the practice and because I bought 2 of them, the first one can be sacrificed in this venture.
Thanks.

I have some cherry microswitches that I prefer to omron. They look like they'll be a direct drop in replacement.
