I was debating if I wanted to post this in the keyboard section or the mouse section. But since the keyboard look like it's just a cheap membrane and the mouse actually looks interesting so I figure I'd post here.
The mouse although a little bit on the tacky side but shape wise actually look very promising. It looks like it might be a very good claw/fingertip mouse with 5 buttons !!! (usually they only make 3 button mouse with this size/shape)
Not sure what the sensor is but with I suspect this might be a really good RTS mouse too bad it only comes with the combo. Although it's not perfect but I think it's a good start.
Now release another one with taller arch and laser sensor and I might buy one. :P

THIS WILL BE DEVASTATING TO THE STATE OF MECHANICAL KEYBOARDS
-
Another non-standard bottom row. That left-Ctrl looks a tad large and the left WIn looks like 1x.
-
Mouse looks a bit like the Abyssus and the Spectre mice tbh. I'm more interested in the CM Storm Reaper mouse, although mostly because I'm a sucker for metal.
-
Devastator rhymes with tater.
-
Ugh, that keyboard makes me think of Razer keyboards. Very "gamer".

Don't worry I think it's rubber dome so it's not like you can switch keycap on it. :P
lol I think this product is market as their lower pricing entry level gaming gear. Too softcore for geekhackers lol.

It says "*Membrane design: More durable, longer lasting, and pleasing tactile feedback when compared to regular keyboards."
-
It's kinda like Razer's "Membrane keys for a soft, cushioned touch".

I think it's just their marketing trying to glamorize rubber dome. But at that price point I'm pretty sure it's still rubber dome.
($40 for both keyboard and mouse)

Congrats CM, you almost made another BWU
-
Consider me devastated, CM!
Actually I can't give them too much grief over this. They make some of the best and least expensive TKL mechanical boards around, and I'm sure there's still a big market for the "gamer" type rubber dome boards.
-
I bought this pack to use for a while before I save up for a good backlight TKL board for home, using my mech board at work atm.
The keyboard feels like a qsenn dt-35 with rubberized keys and a very low backlight. Good for the price but nothing on a mechanical obviously.
The mouse is actually pretty nice. The sensor isn't as nice as my razer DA 2013, but the feel of the mouse itself is nice, the leds are bright, the scroll wheel feels solid and the LOD is really low which I like, the rubber thumb rest I really like. The DA is better but this one is usable. I am really really picky with mice so this one will be a decent backup or gift, and ill use it for a while just to muck around with it some more.
Typing this out on the keyboard is pretty nice, but nothing on a mech board as you would expect. The backlight is fairly useless but I touch type so meh, at least if I need to hit a special key i cant find there is a bit of indication in the dark.

Do you know what the dpi steps are? I was really tempted to buy this just for the mouse LOL.

Indeed

The dpi settings are up to 2000 for the CMSTORM DEVASTATOR MS2K.. good mouse, nice grip, good for precision gaming and very reasonable.

I'm using the CM Storm Devastator and I'll make a review of it soon...
Sensor: Pixart PAN3309DH

Calling it "bad" is underrating it. It goes far beyond that... It's the worst gaming mouse I've ever seen, it makes any Philips Twin Eye mouse (even the CM Storm Sentinel) look good next to it :-X
I really have never seen so much prediction on a mouse...
The internals are absolute crap, the scrollwheel feels bad and broken, it uses a piece of lead just to make it heavier and look more durable (while it's not)... Jesus Christ, I knew it was bad, but it's beyond all my expectations...

lol I don't know why but I found this really funny hahah.
I guess it's a good thing you took one for the team, I was debating to buy this for the mouse before but I guess now I don't have to. :P
