Hi GeekHackers!  I'm new to the scene, just wanted to say wassup!  I'm based in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. and have caught the keyboard bug, haha.  Also, just wanted to mention that I'm really in need of a GMK Purple escape key if anyone has one for sale.  Please let me know cause I'm searching high and low and can't seem to find one.  Thanks!

Right now, I have an unmodded Poker 2 with browns.  A Keycool 84 with reds and white LED's.  I have ordered the following:

KBT Race with blues and blue LED's

Custom red Duck Mini v1 that I just won the bid on from listokei.  That will have a rainbow LED scheme. With reds.

Custom blue acrylic case with Poker x with ergo clears mod from alixinhzai.

Silver Duck Poker with blues with red plate from rurushu.

That's it, FOR NOW :p

Just thought I'd take a wee pic of my current Keycool 84 with reds and white LED's to start with before I get my other boards....
Was crazy trying to get familiar with the keycaps as they were transparent blanks that I got and didn't know which one went where haha.  AND I kept on dropping keycaps on the damn floor.  Trying to find those transparent caps with my type of floor was not an easy feat let me tell ya. ha AND The sound of falling keycaps, oh boy.  :)) But was a thoroughly enjoyable experience overall, so excited to be getting into this new little venture haha.

it's 9 in the morning here and i didnt even get a single wink.... been up all night trying out various keycap combinations.... oh, yeah... and i decided to spray paint my keycool case white.. haaha POKER PHOTOBOMB!!  :)) :)) :))

Just got these from WASD... had to have me a rainbow themed set haha.  Though in their little design your own app thingy i totally forgot to get the number keys engraved, oh well, doesnt bother me as much as i thought it would haha :))

Just ordered me a HHKB Type-S and a RealForce 55g from elite.  Also got me some blank topre keysets from them in pink and yellow.  Yum.  Can't hardly wait.  Will there ever be an end to all this?

Is it true that Abu Dhabi and Dubai are as wealthy as it is portrayed to the world? (Lots of fancy ass cars everywhere, almost everyone is "wealthy"?)

regarding the U.A.E. well, there's actually some contrast too.  There are lambo's ferrari's and veyron sightings almost everyday, though, there are also street sweepers and construction workers, or as they call them here "laborers", that make like $150 a month.  So, yeah, tallest building in the world, fancy shmancy malls, etc... and people from primarily the indian sub-continent making real low wages.  it's quite unfair.  though you'll never find homeless people here as you have to be on a working visa to be here, and most all the nationals are pretty much set and taken care of - they get the highest paid starting salary's over here.

Ahh I can understand the fancy car thing in Norcal where I live there is one street where all the million/billionaires go after work/at night :|...

But you should look deeper into Korean customs after you try the duck mini out :).

Do you think it's nice to live there? And is it safe? :)

It's awesome to live here and one of the safest places to live in the world.  The only real killer here is car accidents.

I know I probs shouldn't do this as I was asked to post pics when all my boards are in, but, I'm one damn impulsive individual and I just got my silver Duck Poker in the mail today, so I stuck on my Olivetti set and my CMYK mods that I also got today.  So, so, happy.  I love this world.  I'm glad to be alive and to experience....
