Title: How to clean keyboard with rubber-like material
Post by: gunbuster363 on Tue, 20 August 2013, 01:37:39
My new keyboard ( cm quickfire xt ) have a case with rubber-like material. Any safe liquid to clean it? I think alcohol is a no.
I just clean some stain with a piece of disinfectant wet tissue with the following ingredients: chlorhexidine 0.1%, Aloe Vera, Glycerine.

P.S. I have a bad experience cleaning my deathadder mouse several years ago when it had covered with dust. I tried to clean it with 75% rubbing alcohol and the rubber material on the mouse was damaged.

Can't ever go wrong with popping the shell off and cleaning it with warm soapy water.

I usually use a wet wipe, denture tabs, warm soapy water, or rubbing alcohol at like 20% concentration.

Keyboard is clean
Nothing left on floor.

Mr. Clean Eraser

The magic eraser is a mild abrasive, just so you know.
