Hi Everyone,
My first post on Geekhack. I know the Rosewill vs Filco comparison has been made ad nauseam but I am looking specifically at getting a Rosewill 9000 (Brown) with a set of ducky PBT side printed caps (http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=230) or a a standard Filco Ninja Majestouch-2. The keycaps and Rosewill come from the same supplier while the Filco comes from someone else otherwise I would have looked at just getting the Filco with the PBT keycaps but having to import them separately makes it ludicrously expensive and I am also not yet 100% on my switch choice (thinking Browns), there is no where in South Africa where I can go to test them. I don't think I am going to hate the browns but it is a worry, don't really want to get an expensive Filco and then end up hating the switches.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Just some background, I don't care about backlighting or media keys or anything like that really. I have that now and I don't use it at all. I have a mouse with extra keys which does my media controls anyway. I do quite a bit of typing and I play some FPS and Starcraft etc.
Thanks.

your post has confused people, especially me.
your're practically making a franken board from Rosewill, Ducky and Filco. Now why would you do that? Isn't that a lot of trouble, waiting time and extra costs?
If you're already a keyboard pro and know exactly what you want, that's fine. But if you're just buying to try out, why can't you just buy a Rosewill and stick with it until you decide it isn't for you?
Looking at your address, South Africa isn't exactly the middle of Seoul. Shipping from almost anyone on geekhack (as well as any supplier in China, Taiwan, Europe, USA) won't be cheap.

So not quite a franken board, either a Rosewill with the ducky caps or just a standard Filco. I really want side printed keycaps and I have felt PBT caps before and I am quite keen on them as well. You kind of answer your own question there in terms of why I don't just buy the Rosewill and try it out and then get the next bit, it is very expensive to ship things in so I have to ship in one go or end up paying nearly double.
First prize would have been a Filco with the side printed PBT caps but as you say that ends up being a huge amount of trouble and a ridiculous price because the stuff is brought in from two different countries so I have scrapped that idea and am left with the above choice. Hope that clarifies :)
