First let me say hello as I am a noob here! :thumb:
That said I've been doing quite a bit of research because I'd like to swap out my LED's for my 92 Lexmark to match the rest of the mod. (Which is black and pink.) I saw a few posts on LED swaps but nothing pertaining to the color I'm looking for which is pink/close to or if it's even possible due to the voltages and mcd. According to what I read I'm looking for ~10mcd, ~5V, ~10mA I found a 2 that might work but ordering them seems to be the tricky part since they aren't made anymore. :'( Also, the model m has the blue cube converter to USB, not sure if that makes a difference since I have never tested it.
So 3 questions...
First, are those in fact the numbers that I'm looking for to not have to worry about frying a board?
Second, is there a some what easy way to calculate the resistors needed if I need to go that route?
And third, is this something that is even possible or should I just give up the ghost and go with a standard green/red/black out LEDs so they don't show?
Thanks for any and all help! <3
