I wana get the QFR MX RED, but im scared of the rubber coating worn out/peeling, anyone have any idea how long its gona take till the rubber coats peeld off?

I've owned my QFR for over a year now and the rubber coated housing has not worn out/peeled in any way... It really doesn't see much action.
The keys are a different story. It's shiny in a whole bunch of places and the printed text on a bunch of keys are faded but I'm a typist and I eat by my desk way too much.

It's Very easy to peel off if you rub case corners against stuff, like if your desk is cluttered or if you carry your keyboard. Otherwise if you are careful and avoid touching the corners, it should last for a good while without peeling.

my QFR reds from 2011 has been taken apart numerous times and been used heavily for a while, and the coating still looks fine to me.

Keycaps are a much bigger concern than the case coating.
