Wtf, My name better be in that OP or I'm coming to TO and slapping you. How new are you?? I'm about DnD.
Have you considered Neverwinter Nights 1? It has a DM mode, and you have pretty much on the fly control for making cool stuff happen.I assume they're just going to use something like http://roll20.net/ .
I forgot what the max player limit was, but I believe it was like 5 or 6 people. I just remember how freakin fun that game was.

The problem with something like NWN is that it's bound by the rules that the game imposes. One of the most interesting things about DnD with a good DM is that the players have a lot more room for unconventional tactics and novel ways of trying things.
Who is Demik??
I beg to differ.Who is Demik??
an impostor!
If you get REALLY desperate, I can DM, if the players are older than 10 years old and know how to behave. If they're can't... let's just say I know how to make their sorry lives miserable.
I've never done anything other than pen and paper though.
In the end, it's all about finding the tavern, eating the snack of the day, going for the drinking contest, starting a fight and getting our ass kicked by the lv20 bartender that always has an axe ready under the bar.
Well, that's what happens in most of my games ;D

That must be an amazing campaign Wcass. How do you play? Are you meeting people locally or playing online?it is IRL (actually it is at my house, every other Thursday, 7:30 - 10:30). we recently introduced Skype to let a friend that moved away join in a few sessions. I'm going to look into that Roll20 to see if that will work for us.
im trying to make my character and i can't get pass my name :(

We can sit down and go through it later. I'm still trying to sort mine out as well.
In the Roll20 app, there's a group chat that has a dice generator program that the entire party can see. One of the best features about Roll20 in my opinion.
