Title: Source of parts for Model Ms?

After doing a teardown of my M13 to prove a point, I managed to find the broken part.

It doesn't have a part number on it, though, and I don't think IBM has a hardware maintenance manual for the M13. ;)

So, where would I get the TrackPoint button module for a Model M13? The plastic buttons are the same part as the buttons and ribbon cable (they're glued on,) so I'd need white.

ClickyKeyboards told me that they had 6-8 M13s lying around that were broken, mainly due to failed TrackPoint mechanisms or dishwasher cleanings, and are going to try to salvage a button set. :D

(The thing with Unicomp is that they wanted $60 to refurbish the board, so I know it won't be cheap.)

Unicomp is reasonable for individual parts.  10 cents per buckling spring/hammer assembly.  $12 for a full membrane sheet for a Model M2.

Well, they also told me in their quote that they needed the part number, because they were unsure about parts availability.

Posting using this M13... I can definitely recommend ClickyKeyboards. Fast shipping, and the parts are good. The buttons work much, much better than the original buttons. :) It's still for sale, though. (I'm picky about keyboard feel, and this just doesn't quite feel like how I want it to feel.)
