I am looking for a Ducky Shine II 78 Version hybrid backlit keyboard. It doesn't necessarily have to have keycaps either.
PM me with what you have.
Thanks.

so the-a difference between the 2012 and 2013 edition is the led backlit from blue to green?

I also think there has been a few minor improvements. I prefer the green backlighting more than anything.

2013 version is matte which is a great improvement, the 2012 version is horribly glossy.
Also 2013 have better backlight (individual for each key), and allows configuration and personalization through synapse 2.0
And seems that have some improvements in build quality.

Thanks for the info... definitely want the 2013 version after reading that.

The older versions had individual backlighting too, FYI. Source - I had one for 2 years.

just a note
on ebay right now there are lots and lots of them. You should be able to get at a reasonable price. But don't look for unreasonable geekhacker prices. The people on this forum may be only willing to pay $20 or $40 for a Razer, but that's not how most Americans think.

Yeah, ebay prices are around $102.99 with free shipping for a new one. I would use that as a good starting price point depending on what the seller has.

you can get secondhands cheaper. Check the sold listings; I think they're 70-80 shipped if you're talking about 2013 ultimates (don't keep track of Razers) With so many auctions in the pipeline, I'm guessing that if you wait you can eventually get the new ones at 90-95.

BlackWidow Ultimate has been found. My sister is looking for a first mech and a Ducky Shine II 78 Version hybrid backlit keyboard seems like a good fit.
