I was browsing the web because I was thinking about getting my first mechanical keyboard (cherry brown seems to be something that would fit my style), and somehow I stumbled upon the world of keycaps and all the awesome funkiness that they entail. It fascinated me, beckoned me, so I dug deeper, and I found myself here.
I don't know whether to be happy or not. It all seems fantastically geeky and oddly useful and wonderfully vain and potentially expensive all at the same time.
But well, here I am. Greetings. :p

Welcome to Wallethack!
I started down the same path as you, got a first mechanical keyboard with MX Brown switches. That was about 25 keyboards ago... :))
Word of advice; buy used until you figure out which switch is right for you. If that becomes a process of constant evaluation, you're not out too much dinero.

Noooooooooooo, you guys are supposed to say "don't worry, just do your research, and it won't be so bad on your wallet" or something like that!!! (yeah right :)) )
Thanks for the welcome, guys. :)
Any suggestions on a good inexpensive (ha!) MX Brown keyboard before I go to amazon or ebay or wherever? ;)

Noppoo Choc Mini with Browns is a solid first buy imo. Speaking from personal experience here ^^
