here is a little comparison I made between my 5181 with monterey blues vs the one posted here
some similarities and some differences, tbh I don't know enough about the batch numbers to make a decision, hopefully someone else does.

I have had about 4-5 of these and they were all Monterey blues.

Are Monterey blues supposed to be nicer than regular MX blues?
