Title: HHKB Pro in Yahoo auctions japan.
Post by: Obakemono on Fri, 30 August 2013, 11:39:34
Hi!

I was checking Yahoo auctions Japan for HHKB Pro and you can find some really neat offers.

Does anyone know a good proxy working with yahoo auctions?  :D

Would be great to buy a HHKB for only 80$  ;D

This is the original PFU HHKB - it's a membrane keyboard not Topre capacitive. They didn't start making Topre capacitive boards until the HHKB Professional was released. It's still probably a nice piece of history, but not worth $80 IMO.

Ups, didn't knew, you have a Pro 2 in 12000 yens which is still nice.

I'd really like a Pro 1 but they can be tricky to find, check the wiki OP to ID model numbers.

Well then, according with wikipedia it is indeed a Pro 2 with Topre capacitive switches.

No, the title of the auction says model number: PD-KB02.

On Wikipedia this is listed under the Membrane keyboards - one of the original HHKBs. It's not a Pro.

Nice, if you could get it for that it would be a steal. Likely, as with all auctions, there will be a bidding war in the last 10 minutes.
