If I could drop Linux on there, I'd be all game, but, Win8RT is really gimped. A guy at work went to the MS dev conference where they were selling surface pro and RT at slashed prices. He pretty much immediately turned around and sold the RT because of how limited it was. The guy who bought it from him was in the same boat. You can't even install software that didn't come directly from the MS App store.

That said, the Surface Pro sounds much better. I'd be more interested in one of those. You can disable secure boot (which prevents installing of other OS's), and the Win8 install isn't gimped (so, you can actually install non Appstore software).
