Title: BEST WAY TO SHIP FROM CANADA TO US AND INTERNATIONAL
Post by: stancato9 on Sat, 31 August 2013, 16:00:37
I couldn't think of another place to post this thread so I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place for it and would understand it being removed.

It seems a lot of you are from the US and other countries around the world. I have found a lot of people interested in my items for sale that aren't from Canada and shipping seems to be outrageous.

If anyone has shipped from Canada before, I would like some advice on the best, and cheapest methods to ship items. Thanks in advance :D

Simple questions, simple answers in keyboards seems to be a better place.

You aren't buying or selling anything. Classifieds isn't the place for this post

I don't think that this is a simple question or a simple answer.

There have been many threads bemoaning the rapidly increasing costs of international shipping.

For a relatively small keyboard to a nearby country, I can ship for $40-50 which seems high. For anything else, the game board box via international priority mail flat rate is $78 and that is about the only deal going. Of course I can ship 2 Model Ms from Atlanta, Georgia, to Tasmania for that price, so that is something at least.

The high price of shipping makes it not worth for me to ship my boards to anyone that's outside Canada. It is outrageous. I just checked how much it would be to ship a QFR to the UK and the cost was $70. More than the price of the board almost.

Same here. I can't sell my borads to International buyers because of the ridiculous high shipping price.

Unless it's a more than $200 keyboard, it's not worth International shipping.

Even then, it's more worth it to wait for a buyer from your own country. :p

How do I delete this thread?
