I just wonder what kind of keyboards are being used on the spacestation? Special switches maybe too? Curious really.

There were a bunch of Genovation programmable keypads in the Space Shuttle. At least, there were in a training module I saw.

Since they are military grade i assume no one can actually buy them and besides, they may be even too expensive. Still, its pretty nice quality perhaps.

Used cortronics keyboards aren't too uncommon. Even easier are finding keyboards that use the same rafi hall effect switches; there are several on eaby right now.

As far as military keyboards, last one I saw on ebay was something like $25. The marquardt military keyboards on ebay.de also weren't too expensive if I recall correctly.
