I'm having a problem where both F1 and F5 are illuminated. I dont want them to be that. Atm I have reactive mode so when I type one key , that one illuminates for 1,5 seconds.
I wish to have F1 and F5 blacked out.
Anyone here with a shine 3? Ive checked the manual.
Also, I'd like to know if there is any way I can store the LED color I have on the spacebar. I made a perfect balance with red and blue to get the purple color I really want. However, whenever I restart the computer this resets. I read something in the manual about FN + alt + numpadkey(1,2,3 etc) but it didn't work at all. I dont know if I misunderstood the concept behind that or what.

1. U have USB acceleration mode selecation mode on. Press Fn + F9 to release. After this F1-F8 led backlight will follow normal lighting options.
2. To store RGB spacebar setting. Fn + Right Alt + number on numpad (1-9). To access/cycle through stored settings Fn + number on numpad (1-9).

Wow I didn't expect this response. Thanks!
Damn I thought it was the left alt. Never tried the right one. Should say that in the manual or at least "Alt Gr" instead of "Alt".
Well thank you good sir. By the way, what is USB acceleration?

Np ;)

Nice to see Ducky reps out here (or am I mistaken?).
Although Ducky is a nice brand for keyboards, getting into contact with Ducky is a little bit hard.

Anyways, I'm the author of the Brazilian Portuguese Mechanical Keyboard Guide and I've recommended lots of Ducky keyboards for people over here due to their quality, be it Ducky Shine II keyboards or DK2108 and DK2108S. Although I've seen over 20 Ducky keyboards over here, this is the first time we had a problem with one of them.
One of the people who bought a Ducky 2108S by my recommendation is having problems with it. According to him, there are 7 light intensity levels on his keyboard. But the problem is, on levels 1 and 2 the keyboard works perfectly. But not at levels 3, 4, 5 and 6. Then, the keys start to go like this:
TThhiss iss aa teexxtt eexxxxaample.
And when he puts the keyboard's LEDs on max brightness, some keys just stop working completely.
And unfortunately, there's no Ducky support over here in Brazil (the keyboard was imported from China)...

We havent done much of the Zero(DK2xxx) series in the nordics but i have tested Zero and Zero S couple times too.
The led brighness toggle should have no interferance with the regular keyboard operation. This sounds like a problem with power, as power requirement (brightness) goes up the keyboard operation starts failing.
Might be a case where the user is using keyboard through a bad passive or over(power)crowded USB-hub. I would recommend trying other USB ports, preferrably directly to computer and behind other USB controller (like back/front on desktop).
Might also be a case of a defective keyboard. Hard to say whats the case here via forums :)

Are there media keys on the shine 3 like play/pause. Sorry for hijacking the thread
-
not dedicated. I don't have a Shine 3, but I see function layered mute/vol up/vol down keys. Not sure about play/pause, but I would imagine they're somewhere. Problem is, the LED and USB response control occupy F1 - F8 function layers.
-
Hmm if it doesn't have play/pause I'm going to try to find a shine 2...

I've got one more question. When I'm recording , fn+record 1, I cant seem to use reactive mode after? Tried increasing brightness and slowing/increasing speed. Didn't work..
