I just got my Shine III with Brown Switches in the mail. I've noticed that the modifier keys are more heavy than the others. Has anyone else noticed this? Especially with the shift and enter keys? On my ducky zero shine, all of the keys have a identical weight to them.

Welcome to Geekhack!
Unless there are different switches there (unlikely), the stabilisers might just need a little while to settle in.

Thanks! I guess I was a little impatient and wanted to have everything buttery smooth right when the keyboard got here. I was trying to figure out how to get to the stablizers and grease them up. I tried taking the switch apart first so I could get down to the stablizer, but it seems like a newer model and you don't press out on the four corners.

Hi,
I also just got my Shine 3 with Cherry MX Blues this week and the shift key is much heavier/stiffer than the rest, but as rowdy mentioned, I'd assume they would wear-in after a few weeks or bashing.
Cheers,

There was a rumour that Ducky user "improved" Cherry stabilisers in the Shine 3. I have not seen any further information about that.
