Title: Identify this keyboard! (Maybe a Model M?)
Post by: zwmalone on Sat, 06 December 2008, 01:01:15
A Fort Wayne craigslist posting shows a pile of junk computer stuff for sale.  But wait! Underneath, from the lack of Windows keys and key coloring it looks like a Model M!  What do you think?  The guy obviously doesn't know  what he has and before I go all the way to Garret I want to make sure:D

Doesn't look like it's got the right curve for a Model M.

It's hard to tell from the picture.  Any bigger pics?

No, craigslist resizes everything.  I sent the guy an email, so I should know soon what it is.

If it's not an M, the lack of Windows keys leads me to believe it's a fairly old board.  Hopefully something mechanical, I'm gonna have him pull a keycap if it's not a Model M.

the colors and lack of win key is right, but curve and edge isnt right. M has a pretty thick and curved edge.
