Got one Binge!
I've been meaning to get one since you mentioned it on IRC :)
Thanks!

These are amazing mice. For $15, they are well worth picking up. You can also easily mod them. I added a rainbow LED and Omron switches to mine as well as modding the cable. Here is a disassemble guide if you are interested in modding yours. http://imgur.com/a/8HBRT (http://imgur.com/a/8HBRT)

Going to buy this after my current mouse breaks (which is pretty soon)

whoa what a interesting design, anybody know what sensor it uses and whether it has acceleration/prediction?

Good question...
I am interested, on gaming with it...
Any opinions here (or elsewhere online)?

I have found it great for gaming. I mostly play FPSs and RPGs. For me, 1600dpi is not really enough. I have my G500 set at 2000, 2400, and 2600dpi. If you're fine with the sensitivity, the Anker is great. It has the side buttons which I have programmed to kneel and crotch in FPSs, or knife. My only other compaint was that the switches were a bit heavy for my tastes, but I replaced them with Omrons. The main thing is the form factor. I took me a day until I was contempt with using it for gaming, but some people may never get used to it. For $16, I recommend just buying one and trying it out. I can tell you my personal experience, but you are the only one that can decide if it works for you.

Thanks, I also play FPS's, like BF3, BTW BF4 is in beta right now, until the 15th (I believe).
I have my Logitech G5 at 1000 DPI but if I leave it there, I turn crazy fast and cannot control my turns or movement!
I just lowered it to 750DPI. I think I have the mouse settings in BF3 to 50% (just in case).
I wanna try it anyways, what are the differences pros/cons (when playing FPS's), compared to a regular mouse?

Interesting, ordered one to use at work, thanks.
-
Well ****.
Right when I get my money and about to buy it, it goes back up to $25

They're great devices. Changed thread title due to the price hike :(

Next time the price drops again (if it ever does), someone needs to pick up a ton of these and distribute them to Geekhackers. :thumb:

They are on sale for $14! It's a must-buy at this price.

Had it in my cart, but didn't notice...
P.S. Amazon is now $35 for free shipping!
-
Picked two up for a bit more expensive on the other side of the pond, my mom is loving hers and im loving mine.
She has RSI issues or something, this actually helped quite a bit, still trying to get her to use a trackball. :p

Really? Dam bad move amazon, a **** ton of other companies ship free over $25, and newegg has free shipping on pretty much all the items

Just another reason to go to Prime, besides the video streaming.
Plus, if you're a student, you can get Amazon Prime Student for free ($40 if you want the video), and still get the free shipping for all your orders.
-
Its down to $13.99 with free Prime Shipping now! I may have to try one at that price.
-
Already ordered one :)

On German Amazon, many many customers complain about the scroll wheel, which seems to break extremely fast. Often in the first weeks.
Can you confirm this? If so, any remedies?
-
What does "Prime Shipping" mean? I have to spend $35 to get it, or can I order just one?
thanks
-
Prime shipping means free shipping. If you're an amazon prime member (free to students, $80 a year), you get free 2 day shipping. If you're not a prime member, you have to have a minimum order of $35 in order to get free shipping.
Being a prime member is worth it, because you also get access to a bunch of free stuff on Amazon Instant Video.

Probably why they lowered it to $14...
I would also like to know if anyone has used it for many weeks.

I have used mine for quite awhile now and it's been fine. I've taken apart the entire mouse and the scroll wheel assembly appears to be constructed fine.

Got mine today. A little bit wierd to learn, but I like it. Its a bit big for my tiny hands

I used it for about a week at work and the scrolling started acting all wonky, like 2 lines down and 1 up. Unplugged it and threw it in a drawer. I need to bring it home and test it, it could be something weird with our standard desktop config at work, but unlikely. Its a neat design but the scrolling killed it for me.
It didn't act mechanically broken, but more like a driver issue.

Contact Anker- they will replace defective units very quickly.

Never could get use to a vertical mouse. Feels so odd for me.

If you tried a truly upright one like the Evoluent that is true - it is the most horrible mouse of all time for several reasons.
I love the Wow Pen Joy and I suspect that this one will be good as well. I just wish I could get a left-hand one.
-
Messed up... just ordered one...
OK, I'll confirm the bad/good?, post a review and return if needed.

Do these use special drivers are are they HID compliant? I am curious since I am not a Windows user, and didn't know how easy it would be to get these going on another OS. Also, I am kinda wondering if the scroll wheel problem wouldnt be a problem under Linux.

No drivers
If there are, someone please tell me. I want to bind the page forward last buttons to something else
