Title: Aluminum case for QuickFire TK?
Post by: RedPanda98 on Tue, 24 September 2013, 13:31:15
Does anyone know if there is a aluminum case for the QuickFire TK?
I know there's one for Filco TKL but also supports QFR.

There isn't one. The TK is an odd/non-standard shape and it's not very popular.

That's a shame. It would be really awesome if someone made one. I'd actually buy it.

Yeah probably won't happen, usually only the super popular ones gets custom aluminum cases.

Examples:

Poker / Poker 2
Filco Tenkeyless (Most of the time can also fit or mod to fit QFR)
Once in a long long while Filco Full Size

Outside of those I can't think of any aluminum case aside from the Korean customs, but those are standalone case not meant to be used on stock keyboards.

You'd be better off getting a phantom and using the all the keys on the right side.

Something like this.

You could always make your own RedPanda98 ;). There's plenty of people around who can help you design it.

Mine would support it with the proper plate and top piece but it costs a lot to make.

I need to get blocks of aluminum and a CNC machine :D
I could start a small business!
