Title: Deck Legend Linear
Post by: mljs54 on Tue, 24 September 2013, 15:22:55
I'm debating purchasing the Deck legend (used & at a significant discount to new MSRP) and have some questions:

1. What stabilizers does the Deck use and how do they compare to the ones on the Filco?

2. It looks from pics of the Deck that the keys are slightly more spaced out than on a Filco, is this correct?

3. Anything else I should know about these keyboards?

Thanks

One thing to keep in mind is that Deck will be releasing new boards soon: http://beta.deckkeyboards.com/

Thanks - the spacing on the new boards looks much narrower to me than on the old ones - that's what attracts me to the old ones

EDIT - also looks like the new boards are not a flat profile like the old ones.  Seems like theyre just carbon copying the Filco look and feel with that layout/ergo and adding their LEDs.

I've got one (Deck Hassium, MX brown) since they're already for sale in Australia.

Once this series becomes more widely available, the other keyboard manufacturers are going to have a bad time.

Those are super sweet! I already have a legend but I was looking for a TKL version and was looking at the WASDKeyboards Code 87. But I love my Deck.
