I've been using a Filco majestouch 2 ninja with cherry blues for quite some time and I've always found them too light for me. So when I heard about cherry greens I figured I'd give them a try. I decided to buy a ducky 9008g2 pro with dark grey dye sublimated keys and it arrived a couple of days ago.
First off, I have to say that I LOVE these keys! The additional few cN in actuation force makes a huge difference to me!
The only issue is the spacebar. It makes a noise that's different from all the other keys. It doesn't squeak...but it sounds more 'hollow'. Compared to the wonderful sound that the greens make, the sound from the space bar is quite annoying!
I've never experienced this with any other mechanical keyboard. Has anyone else come across this?
I really don't think lubricating the stabilizer bar will help since it doesn't sound like your typical metal-on-plastic squeak.
Anyhow, I'm hoping someone here has an idea!
Thanks!

"Has anyone else come across this?" i do, i think i even got same board, but for me that sound isn't annyoing but i'm tottally with u on that lubricating won't change a thing. Maybe it's kinda "echo" effect cause there's a lot free space in comprassion to other smaller keycaps........?

My space bars usually sound different to the other keys, simply because of their different shape and thus acoustic properties.
