I received the case tops few weeks ago but life tends to be pretty rough sometimes and I had little time to dedicate to the project. Sorry about that.
Anyway I started working on it and I promise you that it's nothing you have (or will) ever see in this sub-forum :) Ming asked to be original and creative and you can't ask a Matt3o to be original without consequences, so if you don't like it address your complains to Ming :P Actually I think I'm going a bit off-topic with my mod hence the project title.
I'm not ready yet to show off something but I can tell you that it involves a dremel, files, sand paper and a lot of cyanoacrylate.
I'm posting the WIP in the next few days. Stay tuned.
Edit: just to be clear, I'm out of the competition, I'm here just to wet your appetite :)

Add some joints into the shoulders and hands so it can hold a keycap or a CM/GH logo!

I can't say it is finished but I'm busy organizing my 1 month trip to the US, so I don't know if I'll have more time to dedicate to the project.
Anyway, it's pretty lovely as it is now :) and it was fun to build.
