I had to check that it wasn't Microsoft Windows posting this thread.

The forum title is "interesting deals/listing/etc..." not "great bargains".

These things were going for almost double not long ago, sometimes higher, and they're rare to find.

Yeah but it wouldn't be as ergonomic.

Maybe not as ergonomic, but MUCH more economic...

But I won't lie, if I had the $600 to waste, I would consider bidding on this. But I'm poor, so...

Have not seen one on Ebay for months.  I think this will go high just because nobody has been selling them for months.

Also I will need some people to convince me why I should not bid on this.  My lust for this board is unquenchable.

Last time they were up on eBay a broken one went for about $75 and a complete went for $200 (same guy has more but didn't post them due to the low selling price). Not really as hyped up as they used to be.

Well, that guy apparently never shipped them......

For this price you could import a new μTRON (another rare ergo board)  though the M15 seems like such a cool keyboard--shame it is so much and so rare.

Someone here on GH bought it. Last I heard, it never shipped/they never got it...

Personally I really don't see what the fuss is all about, but then again I've never been one for ergos.

It's just a split buckling spring that has a lot of adjustment potential.  Although I heard the M15 has the same internals as the Model M2.

Seems like a decent deal when compared to other M15s that have sold. I think they were going for +$1000 a year ago.

I mean... anyone I would tell I spent that much on a keyboard would call me stupid but whatever, I worked for it.

I promise I'll write a proper review of it for every one.

I would be interested to hear how the feel and build quality of the M15 compares to those older Model M's, like the 1390120 and 1391401.

I'll be sure to compare it to a Silver label, grey label, and an M13 (which I imagine it'll be closest too). I'm sorry I don't have an M2 too compare it to but I will compare is form factor to that of the SSK.

It'll be closest to an M2.  It really is a split M2.

Congratulations. There's nothing quite like an M15.

what a steal

Yeah, the keyboard seller sure is stealing a lot of money at that price. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for one of those.
