Don't know if this has been suggested

what about retractable cord...  I've had a tape measure that's lasted 10 years, so the coil spring mechanism seems quite durable....

Perhaps this board could fit one into that box.

I have had this idea
because I use poker circuit board
So I temporarily abandoned retractable cord making

I like your design a lot. Something about it reminds me of Gundam for some reason...Maybe it's the angles.

retractable cord has maybe some patent issues. At least for mice its patented.

Teacher: Why buy a keyboard that's so loud?
Me: It feels heavenly to type on it that's why.
Teacher: Get out of my class.
