Just ordered the QFR Rapid on Amazon]http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VDKLLM/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VDKLLM/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1[url). I ordered the Brown's with it. Did I do good? I really have been wanting a new keyboard for a while since I've been using my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2012 Edition for 2 years. Luckily, I had 0 problems with the board but I want new change. I do not game at all, I'm am a typist and spend most of my day at my keyboard typing for my work. Will the Brown's be good for me? I had no reason for changing from Blue's since I type but they are practically the same keys except lighter and quieter (noise is not a problem). So being lighter and quieter did I do good with the Browns? Is the QFR I ordered made by Costar still?

I think you did fine. I've never actually used browns, but the browns and the blues seem to be some of the more popular switches around here. The QFR is a solid keyboard and it's actually my first and only mech board. Just to add, the QFR is made by Cooler Master and not Costar.

QFR is excellent (he says, typing on a QFR with blacks).
Brown tactile feedback is not quite as strong as blue, you might find you miss it a bit, or maybe not as they are quieter.
Kudos for trying a different switch when you are happy with what you already have.

Why not! I can return it anytime if I really dislike it. Sadly I live in an extremely rural area where there is no popular computer stores, or any computer stores other then repair shops. But however while on vacation in Toronto I visited CanadaComputers which... has everything you could possibly imagine. I typed on Browns for maybe 10 seconds but I strongly disliked it, I feel like it was more the keyboard then anything else, but I am willing to give it a try!

Good deal @ $65

Your choice of switch is totally subjective.. All that matters is if YOU like it. =) I think you should try them for a bit longer than 10 seconds to decide though. ;)
Cooler Master's OEM is Costar.. You can find lots of threads comparing QFR to Filco (which is also Costar) on GH.

For what it's worth, CM does not use costar for all their keyboards (the backlit ones, at least, are not costar) however, the QFR is costar, and well respected here.

Right.. I should have qualified that w/ 'QFR'. =)

I f both my Filcos would break today, that is the exact keyboard that I would get. It is one of the best bang for buck you can get when it comes to mechanical keyboards imo.
It is 10 bucks cheaper even on newegg with 10 dollar rebate.
