Title: Key feel vs layout
Post by: vatin on Fri, 04 October 2013, 22:36:10
What do you think is more important to you key switch feel vs layout?
Currently I'm a Kinesis Advantage fan looking at one of those topre boards for its claim of the excellent feel. I know it's just a matter of time before I pull the trigger, and that key feel is subjective matter. But what is your opinion anyway?  ;D

BTW I think the Kinesis's layout is excellent except for the sorry rubber function keys and disappointing build quality.

Layout.

I can adapt to switch feel much easier than adapting to a different layout.

Especially if you mean something like qwerty vs. dvorak.

Layout is more important. And as rowdy said, it's pretty easy getting used to a new switch.
