Why not a metal tray to sit under the keyboard, with the wooden wrist rest out front? That way, you can use it with any Poker case you have.
I wouldn't separate the wrists, though.

Because I thought it would look cooler! The current model of it that I have is pretty bad and sometime I'll get around to making a better one that better conveys what I have in mind.

How about instead of having an aluminum case, essentially, you just have a layer of aluminum plate with holes in it for standoffs. Then the PCB sits on the standoffs, and there is a wooden rest in front of it. Saves on cost, and you can look at your PCB.

Integrate a cupholder!

So you want a compact board with 2 massive piece of wood attached to it? :))

Integrate a cupholder!
:o blasphemy!
then you might spill your drink on your keyboard

I actually knocked a cup of coffee on a Poker, wouldn't have happened if it had a cupholder!

Well, i find the idea with a big wrist wrest pretty bad. It's a cool design, don't get me wrong! But isn't the idea with a 60% to be small?
