Title: Chrome issue.
Post by: Fragil1ty on Wed, 09 October 2013, 13:26:47
So I tend to watch Destiny on twitch.tv sometimes and I saw a post from him on Twitter, I clicked it and this appears:

All is well apart from the fact that the video does not appear and this happens on all sites that use a feature similar to this, I can load up Youtube videos fine, but when it's coded or embedded like this?

It just doesn't work.

Oh man Dollar Shave Club... awesome videos on there.

It might be because you have cookies disabled. Try re-enabling them and give it another shot.

If that doesn't work, uninstall and re-install Chrome.

Disabling ad blocker may help, alot of external sites have ad-blocker-blocker.

What you say is true, but it shouldn't be an issue when playing videos tho. I use an ad-blocker and the Dollar Shave Club website (depicted in the OP) works fine for me.

Update flash?

I had some weird issues with sound not appearing in some videos - resolved after flash upgrade.

Don't think it's an Ad-blocker issue. Try running it from twitch.tv itself ? See if it helps.

TRY INTERNET EXPLORER.

How did I know you were going to say this...

In all seriousness, this is getting old. This person is asking for help regarding GOOGLE CHROME, not IE.

Yea, he's asking help using his browser, not recommendations using the software that is used to download a real browser!

THERE IS NO HELP FOR GOOGLE CHROME. IT IS COMPLETELY HOPELESS. THE TIME HAS COME TO FACE THE UNDENIABLE TRUTH THAT INTERNET EXPLORER IS THE FUTURE OF COMPUTING.

*irrelevant*

I would argue that this constitutes as "threadcrapping" which is against the rules. Mods could take disciplinary action should it continue.
