Go for the CM QFR, it's generally under $80, can be as low as $55 (it was on newegg for $55 after rebate for a while earlier).

Whoops. The TK would be fine also then, if he doesn't mind the integrated numpad/keypad.

Morpheus I would suggest to save up some more and get true TKL backlit, Ducky or WASD V2 when it becomes available. Buy once without regrets :)

That's what I was thinking too after I posted this. Ducky Shine 3 seems to be the most logical purchase at this point.

I'm pretty sure that Shine 3 is fullsize, but it's all about what you want. Hope you end up getting one that you like.

The Shine 3 TKL will be coming out at some point.
