Is the measurement in the discussion of 10" on the height of the stand accurate? How heavy is the stand?

I use a short towel hanger for my HE-400 LOL
It actually works alright especially for 7 bucks. I have the cable looped around the base because it's too long for me and it doesn't look cheap.
Nevertheless, this stand looks fantastic and when you have stupid connectors like on HFM headphones the Omega stands force you to keep the cable bent and stressed at the bottom of the stand.
