I heard old Logitech trackballs are the business, but $1025 for a mouse?!

Has anyone used one of these? How much would they have retailed for when they were still made?

I had one of these back in the day. IIRC it cost me 60 dollars, which was alot for a mouse then. I wish I still had it but one of the buttons failed, I tried to fix it but ended up ruining it.

Most of those bids being made by one person, trying to find out e***a's bid (of $26.11,) and then r***a's bid (of at least $1,025.00.)

I suspect r***a and 6***6 are shills of some sort. Either that, or someone trolling the seller. (It's been done before - I've had some friends create new eBay accounts to troll a bad seller with, by bidding their crap items up to the stratosphere with two accounts (so that the ridiculous bid sticks, and the seller has to pay ridiculous final value fees.))

THe seller has to pay final value fees even if they're never paid? And can't the seller put in a non-paying-bidder alert?

The seller doesn't have to pay if they can prove that the winning bidder is non-paying, but on a big ticket item like that, I don't believe you can use PayPal, so eBay essentially has to accept the seller's word, and necessarily, eBay is a bit wary of that, seeing as final value fees are probably their main income source.

on ebay there is one currently at 125 and on in an ebay store at 65

Looks like the guy who bought it put in a really high amount to win the auction in any case. This would work almost always if people bid realistically. He probably didn't expect people to try to approach his maximum bid. Or it was just a simple mistake during bidding.

r***a and 6***6 are the same person.

I say he's not going to pay (bid error), the article gets relisted and ebay doesn't get any fees out of this auction.
