Title: *sold* Batman: Arkham Origins Steam code
Post by: Amble on Sun, 20 October 2013, 17:08:46
Hi, since my 660 ti crapped out on me last week I decided to purchase another one in hopes to sli when I get it back from repair.  It was purchased from Amazon.com and came with an email with a redemption code for the game.  From doing a little googling, it can be activated through Steam.

I am asking $25 for it... paypal gift, due to the nature of the product.

Thanks.

When posting this I thought, gee, I wonder if demik will have a problem with this (sarcasm).... well apparently you do.  I certainly don't want to tell you how to live your life or how to think, but is this really that big of a deal?  If a mod wants it down, it will be taken down... no problems.  Please police your own words and actions before anyone else's.  Just didn't see it as that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

Heck, I even gave away a Origin account here on these very forums last year that had Battlefield 3 + premium.

A lot of people buy graphic cards and sell the bundle games they don't want for less than retail. Seller gets some of his money returned and buyer gets game for less. What's the problem?

It's just a steam code for the game, even if the game isn't release you can still pre-load it usually.

Ah I see. Seems wierd that nvidea would give out codes for games that haven't come out yet because those are pretty expensive.

This happens all the time. I bought codes for Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite about a month before the games were released. AMD was bundling them with its own graphics cards. Such codes are for sale on just about every forum imaginable. So unless there is a specific rule here prohibiting it, there is nothing wrong with such a sale here.
