I have a G600, and it works perfectly well. No noticeable flaws in the sensor, and BUTTONS!
My friends has a G500, and it's quite comfortable for a palm grip, though not quite as wide as I'd like.
Never used a G400, but I recall it having a similar shape to the G500.

The G400 is the latest update to the venerable MX518. Great mouse.
That's a phenomenal price on the G602, which is what I'm using right now. It's strange looking to be sure, but it's the most comfortable mouse I have ever used.
-
I am not sure if the G700 is still on sale or not.......
-
The G500 series has the button on top to unlock the scroll wheel for smooth/fast scrolling. After getting used to having it, sucks to go without. Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered a G500S, my G500 gets retired for a spare!
-
To everyone on the edge or not sure which to get, go with the G500. It's a great mouse and a steal for $40.
-
I just bought a mouse too.. :(
-
Is the G700 deal working for anyone? Not working for me :|

So true, I still go back to it when I need some Logitech love :-* .

Anyone using the G600 buttons for tasks other than games? I'm thinking of picking one up to use with photoshop, but I'm not sure if I would really use it after getting used to all the keyboard shortcuts. Seems that photoshop is so mouse intensive that it would kind of make sense though. Any recommendations there?
This also got me thinking about typing for people who only have use of one hand. If you could set the software up right on the G600 you might be able to type using only the buttons on the side (and combinations with the buttons on top). With 12 buttons you'd need at least two different modifier buttons to change the mapping of those on the side. From what I've read, it looks like only the ring finger button is able to do that. Are any other buttons able to change the button mapping for the side bank. I bet there are at least a few people out there who would really benefit from a combined one handed mouse/keyboard solution. I'm tempted to buy one just to try it out.

If only the new g9x were out :(

Updated with combos and Amazon price matches.

I don't use the extra buttons for anything but a numpad and the DPI-Shift (see RAT 7) outside of games. However, as a TKL user, I like the Numpad thing.
-
Using it as a number pad... hadn't thought of that. That would be a great way to move to TLK, which I'd love to do if I didn't have to do data entry with numbers a couple of times a week.
Thanks for the tip. I may have to try that out.
-
Grabbed the g100, received it in 2 days. Fits in my hands quite well !
Edit* Free code since I don't play NeverWinter

It actually works quite well. Now, I'm just using while I'm too poor to get an actual standalone numpad, but it works quite well. You can find keys easily, because they're each contoured differently.

Got it today, pretty quick shipping. The 500S feels much more precise and somehow smoother than my older 500 :thumb:
