Title: Been looking for this keyboard for months now..
Post by: IlikeGravy on Sun, 20 October 2013, 19:42:50
I've been waiting for a keyboard with these specs to release for months now:

- Tenkeyless (might settle for a smaller form factor)
- MX blue switched
- White LEDs
- Costar stabilizers

This combination seems so simple (and would be popular), but I have yet to see a company produce one. Only thing I can think of that comes close is the ducky shine 3, but those use cherry stabilizers, and I don't really like the styling for ducky keyboards too much. Very plain jane and boring looking. Also looks kind of cheap.

So, anyone know if a keyboard with these specs are releasing in the near feature?

The only keyboard that comes to mind is the Keycool 87.  Qtan might be able to get something.

believe it or not,  LED mod is significantly easier than  switch mod...

So you could change the leds out urself if you must have one TODAY.

OR... taobao

As far as I know this is the only backlit keyboard in current existence that uses Costar stabilizers.

Wait for this.  MX Clear is sold out and they're considering making the 2nd batch with MX Brown and MX Blue.

However it will happen after 4-6 months so you might need a little bit of patience.

Was thinking about waiting for the new CODE keyboards, but they do seem a bit overpriced. Well, when comparing it to coolermaster's line of keyboards.

Oh man are those ABS or PBT double shot?  Max Keyboard even learned to use standard bottom layout now, a smart move on their part though you'd probably not want to swap out those double shot keycaps lol.

But otherwise this one actually looks really good.  :D

So he gave you a TKL with the wrong color backlighting, I give you a full-size with the right backlighting (from the same manufacturer, no less!).

I recommended that to a friend and he bought it; it's a great kb.

But since OP wanted a tkl, I thought he'd favor the form factor over led color, hence my linking of the tkl kb from maxkeyboard.

Makes sense. I suppose he could also ask MaxKB if they could make a custom TKL for him, because they do the custom full-size. It would probably be pretty expensive, though.
